Melinis Nerviglitumis ‘Pink Crystals’ Ruby Grass
The name ‘melinis nerviglumis ‘pink crystals’ refers to the color of these gems. They are not just any colored stones, but they have a very special quality which makes them beautiful gemstones. There are several types of pink crystals including:
A) Melinids – These are tiny white or pinkish blue crystals with no other characteristics than their color. B) Melini – These are larger crystals with different colors. C) Melinis nervi – These are crystals of various sizes ranging from small to large. D) Melinos nervi – These are smaller than melinis nerviglumis, but still quite large. E) Melinos nerviglumis – These are very big crystals, some measuring up to 1/2 inch (12 mm).
F) Melinos nerviglumis nervi – These are even bigger than melinos nerviglumis, and sometimes weighing as much as 2 pounds! G) Melino – These are very large crystals measuring up to 3 inches (7 cm). H) Melinolus – These are black crystals. I) Melinis nervilium – These are green crystals. J) Melinis nervillum – These are purple crystals. K) Melinis pala – These are pink crystals that are only slightly darker than the melinids. L) Meliniums – These are the rarest of all the gemstones, and they come in a huge range of colors, including blue, red, orange, green and purple.
