1) Make sure you have good soil for your angelita daisy.
Most garden centers sell a mix of peat moss and perlite. Pumice stones work too but they’re not necessary if you use a mix of peat moss and perlite.
Mixing the two together makes it easier to keep the soil moist without having to water frequently. A common mistake is to over water the soil with regular potting mixes which don’t contain enough moisture.
2) Prune your angelita daisy regularly.
You don’t need to do it every year, just once a month or so. It’s better to prune than it is to let the tree grow out of control and die from lack of sunlight.
Pruning helps prevent the branches from becoming too thick and also keeps them from breaking off during strong winds.
3) Keep your angelita daisy away from high traffic areas like roadsides, sidewalks, driveways etc.
. It’s best to plant your angelita daisy where it will receive at least 6 hours of sunlight a day. If you don’t have a location that gets at least that much sunlight, you can place an inexpensive solar light in the pot to help it out.
Just make sure you keep an eye on the water level in the pot so it doesn’t dry out.
